And the relishing of history,

So whatever higher admirers of us there may be, if any.
Inspired in ways we cannot be, they are, by the human minds elevating on harmonious thoughts
And contemplations of infinity;
Thoughts ground-breaking and forward-looking.
The lepidopterist is enchanted by the symmetry of the butterfly,
As they are with the glowing halos of our strange loops;
Our self-awareness, our self-consciousness!
Beauty that is impossible for the butterfly itself to appreciate
