Hi, I'm Niki Hignett

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to say that I'm really inspired by what you've started here with the H+ Cafe, Chris, and I'm looking forward to participating in the discussions as you get more into the process of film making.

Anyway - just to quickly introduce myself. I'm a web analyst – based in London. My degree is in software engineering, but a big chunk of my career has been in online marketing. My interest in accelerating change started back in University - doodling around with extrapolating Moore's law – I began to wonder where it all might lead. Shortly after, I stumbled across Anders Sandberg's site and discovered the transhumanist movement, but I'd say I only started seriously following trends in computing, nanotechnology, AI and genetics after reading The Singularity Is Near.

Looking forward to meeting you all – it'll be fun to bounce some ideas around :o)
